Floating on Blue

Floating on Blue (2024) is a short film and photography series exploring a woman's detachment from every day life, following a devastating loss.
In juxtaposing the confines of a house and the wilder landscape of a beach, the film looks at how we resist and embrace emotion in times of hardship.
We are asked to consider how we can move through grief without disconnecting from ourselves and the world around us. How we can let our hearts break while staying rooted in love.

“You successfully united a room of strangers through one of the rawest experiences of being human. Creativity beautifully bookended by conversation.”
